This document applies to beeswax for use in beekeeping. Beeswax according to this document is not a pharmaceutical or cosmetic product, nor a food product or food additive, and not a raw material for candle production or other applications outside of beekeeping. This document does not apply to beeswax intended for use as food, such as comb or chunk honey.
