Road traffic signal system - Part 700: Industry-specific security standard for traffic control and guidance systems in urban road traffic
Abstract
This document is applicable to all processes related to the life cycle, such as planning, development, system integration, testing, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and disposal of road traffic engineering systems consisting of road traffic signaling systems as described in DIN EN 50556 (VDE 0832-100), traffic control systems as described in DIN VDE V 0832-400 (VDE V 0832-400) and their central control systems, as well as all elements connected to them via data transmission. It also applicable to installations and systems that fall into the “Intelligent transport systems” installation category in accordance with BSI-KritisV in the “Transport and traffic” sector, provided that these are closely linked, technically or functionally, to road traffic signaling systems or traffic control systems. Road traffic engineering systems and installations used in tunnels, including their control and guidance systems, also fall within the scope of this document. Tunnel-specific equipment, such as fire protection and emergency exit signage, is not covered by this document but may be part of critical infrastructure in accordance with other provisions.
