Combined flexible materials for electrical insulation - Part 2: Methods of test
Abstract
This International Standard specifies the test methods for flexible multilayer insulating materials for electrical insulation. Some properties and corresponding test methods that relate to the property profile according to IEC 60626-3 have been confirmed. Other test methods are described as supplementary guidance for further standards that can be agreed between customer and supplier to meet specific end-use requirements. Materials conforming to this standard meet recognized levels of performance. However, selection of a material by a user for a particular application should be based on actual requirements for adequate performance in that application and not on this standard alone.
