Adjustable speed electric power drive systems - Part 6: Guide for determination of types of load duty and corresponding current ratings
Abstract
This technical report contains alternative methods for the determination of rated values for variable-speed electric drive systems (PDS - Power Drive System), in particular for their basic drive module (BDM). It does not apply to adjustable speed drives for railway applications. General rules for rating specifications for low-voltage DC drive systems with adjustable speed are contained in IEC 61800-1 and for low-voltage AC drive systems with adjustable frequency in IEC 61800-2.
