Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document defines a guideline for feature-based classification regarding the degree of participation in data spaces. This classification is used to verify whether the expectations of one's own company and its use cases meet the requirements to participate in data-driven value creation platforms in the industrial services sector. The initial target audience of the guideline is specifically providers and consumers in the value-adding industrial services sector.
