Flanged steel pipes and steel and cast iron flanged fittings with PTPE or PFA - Technical delivery conditions
Abstract
This standard is applicable to the supply of flanged pipes and flanged fittings to DIN 2848 made of steel or cast iron with a lining of polytetrafluoroethene (PTFE) or perfluoroalkoxy (PFA). For components that are not listed in DIN 2848, this standard can be applied mutatis mutandis. When used within the scope of the Pressure Equipment Directive (Directive 2014/68/EU), these fittings are to be regarded as a component of the pressure equipment. The area of application of the fittings is within the area of application of the pressure equipment.
