This standard applies for measurements carried out for determination of oxygen absorption capacity of substances, packaging materials, means of packaging and auxiliary means of packaging intended for absorption of oxygen. It includes active and activatable devices. The Committee responsible for the work is NA 115-02-06 AA "Aktive Verpackungen/Sauerstoffabsorber" ("Active packagings/oxygen scavangers") of the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
