Exoskeletons - General requirements and test methods
Abstract
This document specifies general requirements and test methods for exoskeletons used in workplaces. It also specifiesa structure of areas of use and a classification of exoskeletons. This document does not apply to exoskeletons specifically designed for use by armed or law enforcement forces. For exoskeletons that are intended for specific applications (e.g. as medical devices or personal protective equipment), requirements that go beyond the scope of this document are relevant. Exoskeletons that fall under DIN EN ISO 13482 are not covered by this document.
