Energy efficiency of buildings - Calculation of the net, final and primary energy demand for heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic hot water and lighting - Part 7: Final energy demand of air-handling and air-conditioning systems for non-residential buildings
Abstract
DIN/TS 18599-7 is applicable to ventilation and air conditioning systems in non-residential buildings and uses the calculated useful energy demand for room cooling from DIN/TS 18599-2 and the useful energy demand for air treatment (heating, cooling, humidification) from DIN/TS 18599-3. The methods described allow the calculation of the useful heat output for the heating function of the ventilation and air conditioning system. These values are transferred to DIN/TS 18599-5. Furthermore, the useful cooling output for room cooling and air conditioning cooling is determined and the final energy for cooling generation (electricity) and the useful heat output for thermal cooling generation is calculated using a characteristic value method for cooling generation and transferred to DIN/TS 18599-5. The final energy required for steam humidification (electricity, gas, oil) is also calculated. Additional procedures calculate the cost of pumps for cold and cooling water distribution as well as other pumps and auxiliary drives required.
