Overview
The DIN 55655 series of standards specifies test methods for electrocoatings for vehicles and other general industrial applications, such chiller units, consumer products, radiators, aerospace, agriculture. This part of DIN 55655 specifies a method for determining the volatile-matter content of electro-deposition coatings (e-coats) during stoving (stoving loss). This standard has been prepared by Working Group NA 002-00-07-09 AK "Automobilbeschichtungen" ("Automotive coatings") of Working Committee NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN Standards Committee Coatings and Coating Materials (NAB).
