Overview
This standard covers a large number of different kitchen appliances. Since these appliances are also used by vulnerable people and children, this standard has been published quite early on, along with the relevant texts. However, most of the texts were then incorporated into Part 1. As a result, some deletions were again necessary. This European adaptation also defines which probes are used on which appliances. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 511.10 "Kleingeräte" ("Small appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
