Overview

This prestandard supplements DIN VDE V 0109-1 (VDE V 0109-1) "Maintenance of installations and equipment of electrical energy supply networks - Part 1: System aspects and procedures" and describes possibilities for the maintenance of equipment and installations of electrical supply networks as well as various general procedures. It is directed at operators of electrical supply networks especially public networks. The responsible committee is DKE/K 227 "Instandhaltung von elektrischen Betriebsmitteln der Elektrizitätsversorgungsnetze" ("Maintenance of electrical equipment of electricity supply networks") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
