Abstract
This part of IEC 63522 is used for testing along with the appropriate severities and conditions for measurements and tests designed to assess the ability of specimens to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. To assess the suitability of the relay for use and/or storage corrosive atmospheres, in particular atmospheres polluted with sulphur dioxide or hydrogen sulphide. The test conditions simulate an artificial situation and allow a performance comparison for usability of relays with regard to known and existing switching solutions.
